Used protocol
One of three protocols HTTP POST, REST or SOAP (not further developed) is used for communication. The connection between the e-shop and the Comgate payment gateway is implemented through redirecting the payer from the e-shop to the payment gateway. After making a payment, the payer is redirected back to the e-shop. Meanwhile, communication between the e-shop server and the payment gateway server (server-to-server) is ongoing in the background.
